The Nonconformist
This was a project for my brand concepts class. We had to develop a brand that would stand out against competitors in a certain market. I chose to take a look at boarding culture and realized that there wasn't a prominent spot in the market for women. If there was any place at all it was usually very corporate and tended to overly compensate for the fact that the lifestyle didn't cater to females by creating products that were stereotypically feminine. The Nonconformist developed as an alternative lifestyle brand intended for women who love to surf, skate and snowboard that doesn't conform to the stereotypical feminine aesthetic
